How fast can you subscribe to 100 linkdirectories on the we? Does it take some hours or only 2 minutes? Write your answer here and do also mention your browser, OS and internet connection.

    For me: mayby 1 hour

    :)

My record was 1 hour and 45 min (130 dirs). But then I changed my list to 300 instead, that takes some hours longer but it goes faster and faster.

    A. Custom made roboform, only two copies existing.
    B. Using FireFox and open 50 dirs in tabs at the time.
    C. Click on cat on one, go to next tab and click on cat, go back to the one earlier that has now loaded and click etc.
    D. Ultra fast connection and windows XP.
    E. My list has about 50% links straight to the submit page.

    There you go ...

How did you make it in one hour? That sounds impossible. It's like 2 submissions per minute. Edit: ok, maybe possible.

For us it takes almost 2 hours to 3 hours working on Windows XP professionally, 512 kbps connection and Internet explorer (not using any automatic form filling software like Roboform)

I said we dont use Automatic form filling software (we tried them but most of them were not fully accurate) that doesnt mean we type in each time ;) .

The filling of forms is done manually by pasting data into the the various fields.... not typing them manually :p

Sent you a PM for some questions:) .

What I've done is use a keyboard remapping program (like Polyphony Keyboard Manager) to program the function keys to hold site information - URL, description, keywords, e-mail address, etc. Then I use a directory tracker: http://www.affmarket.com/?a=directories and other sources to get a list of good directories and then submit. I was able to submit to around 180 directories the other day in about 2 hours.

I use IE and save field information, also.. if I know a bunchof directories tha look similar than I copypaste the second half of the url to the add page than I just write the URL to the directory and copy paste so I come directly to the add page within the specific category. But I've must say that I was even faster before.. now it's more boring so I'm not so determinated anymore.

We've built an online tool that does autofill and tracking in one click. Autofill is absolutely accurate 'cause it's built just for directory submission. It has been used by 1,000 users in last 6 months. Link in my sig file.

Take 2,3 minutes for each submission.
    Select the proper categories.
Check the number of listings in the proposed category.
Check the PR of the proposed category.
Take time & select best suited place for your listing.
Fill the form completely. (We use Google AutoFill)
Do after work of the submission.
    Pray for inclusion.!!!

Take time, Don't get hurry. Make it Perfect.

i hav been adding URLs in directories for the last 2 years, now i am habitual of it. Also, i think its important that we concentrate on quality not quantity, manual submissions always take time and concentration as well. On the other hand, using automated submissions can ban you from that directory or search engine.

Well I'm not a fast submitter. On an average rate I need 2-4 hrs to submit on 100-150 directories.

Hmm took me a few days, because i got bored after 40 and left it to the next day.

I was planning on making a program to auto submit and then all it would do was display the verification images for each directory that needed it, much quicker than submitting.
