hi all, if we submit our url in more than 500 directories how can we check that their added our url in their database and how much time their will take to add the url if we added once there will keep it permanately or we should submit in regular intervals plss help i am totaly new to this concept
manually is better way keep the url track where you posted but you can also use seobook for finding your url.

It takes some review time, that is depending on owner of dir site. I think link back is not permanently.
Yahoo Directories has directory search capabilities. So you can check it there. I don't know with other directories.
Most 'free' directories keep the links permanent but there are a few that would remove your link after a few months and demand payment ( i have only seen a couple of them so far ).
Once submited it will be there, no nedd to submit duplicates, but getting BL from it very poor chance
