Examples: My site is about coke and I want ads about pepsi. My site is about dogs and I want ads about cats. My site is about ibm/pc and I want ads about mac/apple.
I didnt give you neg eedback but I think the reason the thread seems pointless is because there is no "why" question. But essentially the only way you will get ads in complete oposition to your content would be if the keyword is used by the advertiser and it appears enough in your sites content
If you don't have the keyword "pepsi" in your content, page title, H2 tags, META description tag, ALT parameter on your IMG tags, and in link anchor text, how would you expect Google to know your page is about "pepsi" and not "coke"?
I want to try getting different related ads because I have been seeing low PPC, I don't think this is against the TOS..
no one is saying it is against the TOS. It is more that it is against logic that is the issue. Unless you have a keyword match, the ads just wont show up
i guess people didn't understand me correctly, i was asking if i am currently getting coke ads could i write about pepsi to get pepsi ads and still be within the tos
Adsense automatically detect keywords on pages that ads placed on. So when you write about Coke, you will get ads related to cokes. You write Pepsi, you get pepsi. The adsense bot see exactly what your readers see, so if your readers see it all about about Coke, the bot will just think the same. You could lie to bots using different keywords blended as background color to hide. But that's against the TOS. It's strictly forbidden to add hidden keywords to obtain certain ads. Just do it naturally.
that's what i did, and i made sure it's still relevant, but adsense bot visit many times already still getting same type of ads
