I have a budget of $500/month for SEO for an online furniture store. How far can you take the website to with this budget.
This website starts from scratch on October 2006 and currently it has a PR of 2.
I have done couple of things so far:
    1. Submit to directories (600 PR5+ directory). ($60)
    2. Articles (about 25 available now), ready for submission. ($70)
    3. Link building (1 way permanent link from 100+ related sites) (not sure about this one).
    4. Social bookmark is in progress for about 100 social bookmark site ($40)
    5. Affiliate partners (this is commision based).
If you see, all those are only about $200+, so let me know what I can expect for $500.

    What are my goals?
    1. Good ranking for certain keywords.
    2. Increased relevant traffic
    3. Increased PR.

Please let me know your proposal through PM and please details how you want to spend the money.

If I were you, I would invest in some SEO EBooks / Training Materials for SEO. I looked at your website and it needs some actual on page SEO help. I sell a Ebook and its in my signature if you want to check it out.

definately you need some on-page seo, if you want a white hat site, the internal urls names sound like spammy to me , same as your meta tags.
for PR buy some good links in the link forum :)

Thanks for the replies. I do realize that we need to do on site seo as well. Any suggestions on what to improve on-site? Which part of the url and metatags looks spammy?

Hmmm, you spent quite a fortune. If I were you I'd have done things in a cheaper way. However, money is meant to be spent :)

So far what you have done is going well.
Your future PageRank looks like a 5.
Seeing as your current PageRank is only a 2, that's quite a jump.

    - Keep adding relevant articles
    - keep submitting
    - work on your seo

Great site by the way :)
