Hello, we listen that Google likes old domains.. So if one domain name expire and i want to register it as my own name, i register it again. Doesnt domain age starts again? I mean its again counted as a new domain by Google?
Yes its age starts again, but that does not mean google or other whois databases like domain-tools[.]com does not stores the previous domain registration and delete called 'domain drop'.
Interested how signifficant difference it is to own bought 5 years old domain and or re-registering domain again.
The significant difference is 5 Years old domain is non-dropped whihc is continously registered and re-registering domain is say if a domain has expired and name is deleted from registrar and is available for new registration and this technique is called Re-registration.
it will be counted from day one. if you buy a domain which was in use for two years, then your website will also be considered two year old. Check your domain name age in whois . com
