How Exactly Site Book Marking Is Done?

Hi Guys

There are about 5 to 6 main social book marking sites. Do we need to submit our URLs to all of them ?

Do we need to submit our URLs again and again in a period of time to get the traffic to our sites?

Any ideas will be appreciated.

IMO social bookmarking only really works if you have a story that the net-savvy would be interested, hence when news on new gadgets do particularly well. They are pretty good for link juice, just don't expect thousands of hits if you're bookmarking something that isn't totally unique and has viral potential.

 

Submitting to social bookmarking sites can bring some traffic and backlinks. Both are useful. Submit only once to each social bookmarking site, and only submit pages with good content.

Even though there are a handful of major social bookmarking sites, I would also submit to the lesser known bookmarking sites as well. Some of the smaller ones do send traffic. And the backlinks you get will be permanent as well.

 

Ya, you should submit your URLs to all of them but submit each URL only once like snowbird said. Try to only submit articles or something that will peak people's interest, most people avoid blatant advertisements.

 

I have had ZERO luck with social bookmarking sites

 

Yeh same, i've submitted to a couple but they haven't brought in any traffic
