How exactly google beats yahoo?

and how exactly google beats yahoo?
why do you think google is better and forever?

 

Yahoo as a search engine pretty much sucks its not used by many people..

Google's still got the best reputation but Yahoo seem to be raising their game. But when they do, Google come up with something new so it can only be good news for us as users, I think. Unless Google wipe out Yahoo or something, then all the paid service prices would probably go through the roof.
A good thing about Google searches is you can put the words you really want in quotes ("...") which you can't do with yahoo.

I always find it funny when people say Yahoo or Bing or Ask suck. If you think companies turning over hundreds of millions or even billions or dollars a year suck, how do you rate yourself on the suck scale?

 

For me google the best. First I love google because they provide opportunity to build blog and next we can get tremendous traffic from google.

 

Yahoo Made a big mistake that didn't bought the offer from google,
the only service that I use from yahoo is flickr....

 

Google only the user friendly to have our search. But still yahoo not.

 

yahoo may be the older one but Google definitely is more user friendly not to mention how much more query relevant it is; besides its more for innovation (for god sake look at half the things they integrate into the results of their search).. guess its more like comparing a Ferrari with a Merc (yes yahoo aint even that bad)

 

I find being in the top 3 for Bing doesn't do much for my taffic. Yahoo is better but google is king.

 

Yahoo search is pretty lame.....I do get some good ppc traffic from them though....just not the volume there...

 

Google was pioneer showing the sponsored ads besides SERP. That really gave them an edge over any other search engines. Innovators always would get an edge like that, its hard to beat.

 

yahoo is still good as portal - but not as search engine.
