I am considering other options besides Paypal, and Money Bookers always seems to get great feedback. What are the criteria to set up an account? Are US buyers familiar with it? They normally seem to be set on Paypal. What other options exist besides Xoom (which is excellent BTW)?
There are no "criteria" as far as I know. You only need an email-account, that´s it I think. About alternatives you can have a look at this thread: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=491459 I hope this helps you
I checked out the Moneybookers site and they say its possible for people to pay you even if they don't have a moneybooker acount? How's that possible? I am just wondering how much trouble ((if any) clients will have to go through to send me money! I don't want it to be something that's a hassle for them to get through.
I think you will recieve an email even if you don´t have an account already in which is stated you recieved a payment. To get the cash you will have to register with MB then ofcourse too and the money will be credited to your account then. Not 100% sure about it
Hellfire81 is correct, You'll get a notification in your email box (if not a member) and when you signup a new account with same email address, your funds will be in your account.
Moneybookers allows withdrawal through international bank transfer and conducts address verification to increase your limit.
