    But what if I want a proxy server?

    Not a script

    Coz that one..you have to go to the website and then enter the URL

    what if i just want to type an IP and a port?

    If you want a proxy to hide your IP address, then get a desktop app.

    If you want to run a proxy service then try zelune.

    If you want a socks chaining proxy try sockschain in combination with sockscap.

    If you want a caching proxy then try open source squid caching proxy.
