How Exactly Do Channels Help You?

    Hi Guys

    Looking into channels with adsense and wondering exactly how are they helpful to you? is the only purpose of channels to help you track your results and find which set or group of your pages is having the most success?

    or can channels also help potential advertisers find your ad space?

    That's it, the channels track every ad block results so you can check the most effective zone in your website where people click more.

    You get some useful information like how much impressions for a specific ad,etc.. It'll help you to optimize your site more.

    Advertisers don't usually choose sites where they want to advertise when they are using Adwords, accordingly to your content that Google bots indexed is what they will show on your ads.

    As for channels, yeah it is mostly for tracking ads for you to see which will perform better.

    I still wondering if we are not using what will happen,is the adsense will be set as our keywords or meta tag or something

    Channels are great way of tracking your 'money making areas'.

    That is, you can make a channel for 468x60 banner, 1 for 300x225, 1 for Link unit etc to see which Ads gets you more clicks and money. This way you can improve your CTR and discard your poor performing Ads to avoid smart pricing.
