How effective is posting comments on blogs for direct traffic?

Yesterday I placed a comment on an article about hiring a writer. I gave some tips and my personal opinion. It resulted in a link back in a new post on the same site, and a link on another blog, which was some sort of funny weirdo reward, BUT it was another link. I also got 10 clicks to my blog from comments I've placed today.

So yes, it does helps building up some relation and a bit of traffic..

I also do post but in limit and only quality comments, and I am happy because i have received some traffic.

 

You do not get a lot of traffic directly from blog comments, however, it helps increase your number of backlinks which will help you rank higher on google.

 

It depend how quality your blog comment post is . Usually people will click on link for those who have solution or optional solution, opinion on the problem that admin share their in blog post.
Call to action and persuasive skill is needed in the blog comment to push them to link to your site to look for more details.

 

It depends on the niche and the blog. A niche could be good but the blog isn't or the blog is good but the niche isn't. I wouldn't expect much traffic with this unless you had outsourcing.

I only comment on Blogs i have an interest on, sure you get a lot of spam but usually when I comment on Blogs it will bring some traffic back to my site and hopefully a couple significant comments

 

Unless you share your website at various places, or put some hard work (or atleast write quality content), you won't be getting anywhere near of getting traffic. And most of the times, the traffic you tend to purchase from other websites are usually non-targetted users or bots. So my question to you is, what do you need traffic for? Do you want to having earnings from traffic? If so, you need to work hard.

 

That depends on how those blogs related to your website, and how good your comments are. Otherwise, it would be only considered as spam link and would not bring your traffic and even really-work back link.

 

blog comments are good for getting backlink if you post on relevant blog like your domain on athletic and apparel then you should find the resource regarding your business domain then your comments will have approved instantly

 

They are very effective. I use google alerts and make sure I am the first to comment. Therefore I get the most viewers for my blogs.

 

If the topic is related to what you have in your site, then you really should be on there in the first place. Also the traffic you’ll get is proportionate to the quality of your posts.
