How effective is Mobile marketing at this time of recession

    I just want to hear your inputs on how effective will be marketing throuh mobile phones say text message marketing at this time of recession. Will this be a wise choice to go ahead

    I'm not really sure what others think but it's **** annoying to receive junk straight to your phone :p I don't even read them anymore.

    It may work if you joint venture with particular mobile phone service provider.

    Promoting internet services through mobile is not much effective. Many times i get SMS about some sites, i never opened them even once on my laptop.

    I would never respond to an ad or offer from my mobile and believe that most other people would,'t as well

    I think it is a bad business practice in an economy or time

    Its a good idea if you sent the ads to the opted in subscriber.
    Coz if you sent to mass people then you may face legal issue by the name of spamming.
