how effective is adsense for refferals

hello everyone

Just wondering if anyone is using adsense for refferals, how do you rate it?

better than standard adsense?

also, wondering how many ads of adsense refferals you can put in with the maximum 3 ad units?

It depends on what kind of site you have.

I stick with standard Adsense, but that's because I don't think any of my sites suit Adsense referrals.

 

It's not effective at all. Nobody manage to convert those referrals...
It has been discussed a lot here on DigitalPoint, just look around and you will find many threads.

 

It entirely depends on how you promote them
and what type of traffic you get !

some of the reffers pay for a click i noticed rather than a sale, but i see waht your saying on ratios...

Unless you have a high traffic gaming website then u can promote their game refferal stuff.
which still sucks. just do the standard ones..

 

it was so effective for about 3 months i got a great results but these days i removed it its waste of clicks and money and its cutting of clicks you suppose to earn from, i dont know if someone seee that its good these days lets see.

You can place 3 ad units + 3 Link units + 3 referrals + 2 search boxes in one page.

 

Its all about your website.

If you run a forum about firefox and extensions, you could make some money.
If you just use it aa banner in like a place where you'd put regular adsense ads, you probably won't convert.
