How effective are Signature Links on DP ???

DP signature links give steady traffic to my sites.

 

I have also noticed that when I have my own sites in my sig (I only have one right now, my last one) I get a lot of clicks through my stats on statcounter. The thing is right now, I've rented out my first two.

 

I click them sometimes.

 

I click on the interesting links.I think that the links on the signature are good for seo.

 

They are and they get you ranked even for terms which are not on your site itself.

 

I only sometimes click on signatures - must be catchy or sounds interesant. But for me it is not important if people click on it, the PR is more important, the rank in google, for special keywords.

 

I click on a few occasionally especially the ones in bold.

 

depends on how catchy they are and if they speak of something exciting.

 

SO .... make yours bold. The key is to make them catchy while using the keywords you are after at the same time.

 

i click on links that have an interesting anchor text and the backlinks we get from DP signature work out really well.

 

I click interesting ones that manage to grab my attention. I think im the only member with no links in my sig!!

 

i have clicke many sig links, i mean they are ussualy right in front of you as you scroll down the page, if the topic interests me then I will go for it, not because it is bold or red etc etc

 

At any other forum I have never noticed or clicked signature links but here I have. And my traffic has shown that people do click my link...

 

Signature Links after 10 to 100 amounts to zero effect in SERP.

It seems most of us click signature links. It would be interesting to know the ratio of number of posts and number of clics (e. g. if you make 100 posts how much clicks do you receive?).

I notice them all the time, but I rarely click on them, as I just do not have enough time to follow up on every single link. Honestly I do not think most of the links in a sig are worth the time it would take to sort through all the good info and crap info, and I expect that someone with a site worth visting has a better way of getting that info out.
