Outside of submitting to blogs directories and getting 100 of one way links, has anyone seen a significant amount of traffic from a blog directory.

I see all kinds of traffic from Technorati...which is considered a directory right? Also, I see some from blogflux, but not a ton.

Try submitting your blog to pinggoat.com. It will submit to over 30 blog directories. I see a definate spike immediately after doing it. Just remember to only submit whenever you've added to or changed your blog.
