I'm looking to list products on an affiliate program, like clickxchange. How effective are these programs? Are these effective ways of getting traffic/sales? Thanks!
Well, you can take it 2 directions - volume or quality; You can sell like 1000 CD rentals for 10 cents and get 100$ at the end of day; or you can sell 1-2 products and make 100-200$ per sale at the end of day; Affiliate programs are the best money makers and can result in huge ROI! For example, you can check moreniched.com affiliate program;
Has anyone used Clixgalore to sell items? I'm looking at placing some items on an affiliate program to be sold. Thanks!
Hi there, It all depends on what your business objectives are. If you are looking for a high volume return, especially if your products convert at a healthy rate, then I'd suggest investing your budget with a more traditional online media buy. Affiliate Marketing is just one part of your overall marketing strategy. Combine it with PPC, online media buys, you'll find it a slower growth channel but in the long term it yields great results. My two cents Cheers, Susan
Affiliate programs are a very good way of getting your products sold. Infact there are so many affiliate programs on the Web today as alot of online merchants now realise that this is the only way that they can really survive on the Web is to have others helping them to market their products.
well here is a great example of an affiliate website i've seen: topjobsreview.com. with clickbank you don't even have to buy peoples programs to become an affiliate of theirs, its all run on "hop" links. You get your link and can promote some like 10,000 affiliate programs.
Clickbank is alright, but I find that there is quite alot of ebooks and things in there that I personally don't think are that easy to sell.
I just started using them. So I will be able to tell you soon. They are very easy to setup and the best thing is they phoned me several times to make sure I was understanding everything. I'll report back on clickgalore
I have and still use ClixGalore occassionally. Personally I don't like the way they do most things. There stats suck, some of their datafeeds have errors which can be corrected automatically with my scripts, but I have not had time to set this up yet. Although, they do pay. I got paid once with them once I reached minimum payout. The only thing is that you have to earn everything in the same currency and meet the minimum payout level for that currency. If you earn: £300.00 GBP and also $1.32 USD and $4.39 AUD then you have reached your minimum payout for the GBP currency only and will only be paid that. If you have other sites set up then each site is paid individually and also referral earnings are also most probably kept seperately and paid seperately from the rest. Why can't they do things like other networks and keep all of your earnings together where they are all paid together so you only have to reach the minimum payout for your chosen currency and that is it. It seems alot of messing around to me.
How I see it is that if they don't treat their affiliates right and they have alot of bad comments from their affiliates then I guess selling on it will not be as good as a network with good comments from their affiliates. The reasons for this is because the affiliates will be the ones doing the selling and advertising for you and not the actual ClixGalore site.
