Hi to all I'm very new to this forum and relatively new to everything net related. I was just wondering if you guys think that Yahoo Search Marketing is really an effective marketing tool if you consider the size of Google and the reach they have. I also find that it blocks my campaigns quite often. Can anyone give some insights as to why that might be the case? Have a great day.
Make sure you understand Yahoo Search Marketing's problems and you won't get automatic account optimization from Yahoo. before you start advertising on it. In terms of traffic volume: Adwords > YSM > Microsoft's Adcenter. So after Google's Adwords, it should be the next to invest your time on. And if you're going to advertise on Yahoo Search Marketing internationally, it may take you longer to set up than Adwords and Adcenter.
I've heard the same thing from a number of people. It seems some users are upset at them for increases in billing recently.
Bear in mind it varies a lot by country, so it depends what you are advertising. For example, Yahoo is huge in Japan, so if you are looking for search advertising there, make sure you get going with them (although in Japan they outsource the work to a company called Overture).
It is next to google adword in terms of terrific volume, and I have seen many people who have made huge profits out of it
Yahoo is very effective. I do better on it than adwords sometimes... I think it's 50/50. Use keywords like a sniper and it doesn't matter where you're shooting from.
Yahoo search marketing will be essential if you know how to execute the plan for yahoo search marketing.
Obviously Yahoo Search Marketing not good as Google but it's also effective way for Advertising Campaign.
i prefer yahoo over google. these days adwords campagins can take days for approval. yahoo has always been the quicker choice for me. traffic if course is less but there still is plenty to go around
