HI friends, I want to sell my Atari 2600 Video game on ebay. But how ebay works ? My father bought it in 1985 for me Now my age is 19 and I am planning to sell it. I gott Cr Card and Bank account from where I can receive money. But suppose today I sell it on ebay and person who is buying it is not in my country, then how can it reach (Game) to his place ? What I have to do if he will not pay ?
Well, that is a big problem if the payment you are expecting is not coming right after you sent the product.. But the buyer will not also be paying (i guess) until he receives the product
Yeah. In general, on ebay you get the money first and then you ship. You can also consider selling it on this forum
Selling on ebay is safe. I am an ebay member myself and I am from India. I have sold a couple of things on eBay and even purchased a lot of things. I would advise you to sell things from your own country. In this case you will be able to quote your own selling price in your own country's currency value. Also. remember that the buyer makes the payment first and then you have to send your product through courier. You are either paid directly to your bank account or ebay collects the money on your behalf. It all depends on you to decide your mode of receiving payments. You can sell anything as simple as old books, video games, electronic gadgets etc. Since you will be selling within your country, you have to specify your local courier charges while listing your product. Example: My electronic book cost is 100 and my courier charges are 25 and so the total selling price will be 125 for the concerned electronic book. You have to be that specific while quoting your own price. I can create a video for you whereby I can demonstrate the actual way of listing your video on ebay. But since I am from India, I would be accessing the ebay.in website. Let me know if you need any help with regard to video creation assignment whereby I will demostrate a live ebay signup procedure and also how to list the actual product online. My video will contain the actual online demonstration with my voice narration.
Thank you Sir, I am also from India, I want to sell my Game player. Now this game box comes under Unique or Antique Category. And 1 more thing to ask, whats bidding on ebay ?
That's how you want the potential buyers to express their interest in your item. So you can either set up an auction where other ebay members would be placing bids for your game box or add a "Buy It Now" price where first member to pay gets it. For valuable packages always ship with carriers that provide detailed postage tracking information.
Put it up for sale on eBay and use Paypal to receive the money regardless of where the buyer resides.
What Happened ? Should I sell it after some years ? So that I can demand more $$ Now at this moment, I am confused. To sell it or not...because my sister and cousin brother love that game box, in early days at age of 7 or 8, we used to play it.

Its from German Company Still, I have preserved it very well. I will not sell it unless and untill some one is bidding in 5 Digit $$$ e.g. $xx,xxx. I will post its photo here.
Yeah, this is the oldest video game I got http://balduin.wordpress.com/2006/10/01/soundic-sd-061-10-exciting-home-video-games/ SOUNDIC SD-061 (1978)
I think you should keep it, you won't get much for it anyway. Selling an Atari is like selling your sister. In 5 years time it will be worth twice as much. And even then you shouldn't sell it
