I heard many companies offer the website for free and at low cost around 8$ with the content management provisions and the dot net programing contact us form.. and they offer the 25 templates from various segments,, what are the advantages of this and disadvantages of this .. Hello chennaipc, The major disadvantage is that it is free. When something is free or low cost there is always a catch. Either you will need to show their advertisements on your website, or the hosting service will be poor (lots of downtime, or poor support), or you will not have full control over your website, or their website building tool will be very limited in what you can do with it, or the templates will be very simple and unprofessional looking. The major advantage is that it is free. I think the disadvantages out way the advantages. If you want to have a serious long term website then free or low cost is not the way to go. By making a small investment at the beginning your chances of success with a website are a lot better.
