You people make me laugh. NCZ Nate sounds like you did a kerry flip-flop dude. Ron Paul's message on both the economic front and foreign policy front were right on. Logixflux where were you man when Ron Paul couragiously told the truth about how we destroyed democracy in Iran in the 1950's???????

Were you playing basketball or something?, and who is auditing the feds?

Its amazing that you folks would vote for a candidate set up by the power structure to serve the power structure by money mostly not from the American people but by money from the special interest groups who dont give a dang about what we the American people want.
All i can say is that im dumbfounded, but another 4 years of a puppet president will get alot of people to wish they had voted for the good doctor.
    Let the flip-flopping begin
God bless the elite huh folks:D

This is a good example of what I was referring to when I talked about being turned off by Paul's supporters. They all(at least the ones in this forum) seem to be truthers, NWO believers, or America haters(whether they are foreign or domestic).
If it weren't for this I'd be more open to RP, but I really don't want to be a part of that group.

If we had done things Ron Paul's way, bury our heads in our own soil, the Soviets may very well have come out on top. Then we probably wouldn't even be having this conversation.

Ron Paul never talks about our foreign meddling that has had good consequences, only the negatives. He cites our help in Afghanistan as an example of blowback that lead to 9/11(which is kind of good because this at least suggests he doesn't believe the "inside job" theory) but doesn't acknowledge that we were at war for the future of the world, which had two clear paths; one communist controlled mainly by the Soviets and the other where western values including liberal democracy would be dominant.

Ron Paul seems to think that everything in the world will turn out the way that is beneficial for the majority of the world's inhabitants if the world's greatest power just ignores the rest of the world and minds its own business.

So you think after a catastrophe like 9/11, the free market would compose itself and get back to business as usual instead of nosediving into a depression?

I know you have me on ignore (maybe someone will quote this so he might read it), but please don't lump all of us into the crazy category.

I am NOT a truther and I don't hate America. I will even admit that a lot of the RP supporters I come across are wayyyy crazy. It's unfortunate because I think they blur RP's true message, which is to bring America and the government back to how it was originally set up to be: for the people.

The old saying is true: Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely.

We need to stop that in this country. I don't believe that everything is a government conspiracy to scare us into bigger government. I believe we have complete, total asshats running the country so they can squeeze every dollar they can out of us, no matter what immoral acts they have to commit to do so. Can you name 5 CEOs or Politicians that wouldn't sell they grandma for $5? The American Dream has turned into who can screw who out of the most money, it's scary....

So please don't lump us all into one category. If you want to learn more on RP, please visit http://www.ronpaulforums.com and come argue with me! (And yes, there are some RP crazies there too!)

Now if you'll excuse me. I have to go continue to stock my underground bunker for when the government destroys us! :)

    I don't. :)

I have to believe that most Ron Paul supporters aren't crazy or hate America and that the crazy, extremist or hateful ones are just over-represented in political forums. Political forums like this one tend to draw extremists.

I'm a student of sarcasm :). I figured with the way our economy currently is and the silence of the past themes here - some of our old timers would want to reminisce the issue.

I have to agree, even though I'm secretly a truther myself. It comes with experience - to know not to bring that stuff up - there's really no reason to, the only impression you can make is a bad one. If the goal of conspiracy theorists is to reduce government, let's focus on reducing government, it sounds less fringe! :p

I didn't know you posted there too - great community. Too bad they never take the Chat function seriously :(.

One day (hopefully soon) 9/11 will be like the JFK assassination--people will think you are a nut if you believe the official story. Just show them building 7. Really, what else could it have been but controlled demolition? That opens up the whole thing. Years ago people were telling me it was an inside job and I just thought they were being distracted from the real issue, i.e. that the PTB would use this event they let happen as an excuse to start wars and ramp up their police state. Now I think they were right all along. They peole who call us "trooofers" and "moonbats" should not be allowed to frame the debate.

Look at the Journal of 911 studies.

BTW, Ron Paul wouldn't have saved the economy because a lot of it is built on speculation. The thing is Obama will not be able to save it either. You want to give 700 billion to the bankers, then 1 trillion to make-work programs?
