How domain names affect SEO?

    Domain names that has keywords in it are found to rank more than other domain names. Is it true? Having keywords in the domain name affect SEO ?

    It is true that having a domain name with enriched keywords has an edge over a domain without any keyword in it in terms of seo value when other factors remain constant...

    It is an important factor if you want to rank but not the most important one on the planet... Off page is much more important if you ask me

    If it is at all possible to get the exact keyword phrase you are trying to rank for as the domain name with the .com, .net, or .org extension By all means grab it if you can. You will definitely get a boost from google because your target phrase is in the domain name. However, name of the game is right also, you need to have your keywords in the title tags, and in your meta description as well.

    Yes definitely - I have a domain that is the exact match for a specific product, it only has 1 or 2 posts but it is right there on page 1 of Google just because of the name

    yes, my site greenmowers.org ranks high in the search term green mowers because of the domain. From backlinks, I am okay on the term green mower

    Registering a domain name is just the start. Writing good quality content is also a vital part of building a good website although the results of that can be amplified by finding an exact match domain for a decent keyword phrase that gets traffic.

    That true, that is why those domain name is so famous and selling high price on the market. It help you in SEO and it easy to get found in search result. I have see one great domain name website . The blog been years din update but still on top of the search ranking. This is what the domain name help it. Keyword is important in a domain name. But enter too much domian name may take opposite effect. Say only on important keywords.

    definitely. I have some sites with exact keyword phrases .info and they're doing pretty good. I bet .com, .net, and .org are much better.
