When i go to sitemap stats in webmaster tools it shows that some of my pages have not been indexed, could this be a dup content issue or would webmaster tools show that it had been indexed even if they were duplicate content?

    thanks

If you want to see your indexed page than try out this
    site:http://www..............

you can see all pages which are indexed by google. webmaster tool will not tell you about duplicate content.

If you have a new site/new pages then it can take a while for them to get indexed. Try a site:www.mysite.com search in google to see the most up to date indexed pages but even this can vary between data centers!

NEVER use google webmaster tools for adding your URL if you launch a new site.

you can also go to yahoo and type "Link:http://www.mysite.com"
It will show you how many pages are indexed and also shows your inbound links

ye i know all that, and my site is like 7 months old now, and i have 155 odd pages indexed already, but i have about 200 available pages that i added to the sitemap file about a week ago and normally my pages get indexed quite quickly. Im wondering if its possible they are not showing up as indexed in webmaster tools because they are seen as dupes?
