How does transfer or site to new owner works?

hi guys, I'm very new here. I want to buy profitable website. But I don't know how to do about doing it.

Let's say I set my eye on a particular site that I want, and I won the bid.

What happens next? How does the domain name be transferred to my host? What about the files, images and database? How can it be trasnferred to my host?

What do most people do after they buy a website from someone?

I really appreciate it if anyone who can help me with these questions

Ask the seller to transfer the whole website to you hosting account and push the domain name to your account

The first thing you should to is get access to a backup of the site's files and database(s) if any.

If the site is hosted on a control panel like cPanel you simply need a cPanel backup.

The next thing you need to do is get the owner to transfer the domain to you.

If the domain is registered at a registrar that allows free pushes you can simply sign up a new account if you do not have one and give the seller your account name and ask them to push it.

If not you will need to get the auth code from the seller and transfer the domain to your registrar. This can take 4-7 days. Make sure they change the name-servers to your host before beginning the transfer in this case.

More instructions could be provided if you told us the domain name.
