How does this work then?

Started using Adwords the other day to advertise one of my sites, though whats confusing when i log into analytics it keeps telling me that the search engine traffic is NON PAID, where as obvioulsy it is paid.

Anyone know whats up with that? Wouldnt normally be fussed however as im always on the look out to buy sites with good search engine traffic it makes me wonder how id ever know if it was actually paid traffic or not considering my stats is showing all traffic as "non paid"

If anyone knows whats this about please let me know

    Cheers

If you literally mean 'the other day', I've found it sometimes takes a couple of days for adwords and analytics to get in sync. If it's longer than that, then you've not got your adwords account properly integrated into it, and you need to look at your settings.

The integration of your analytics and your adwords is not right, try to setup your analytics again, then you should find the difference between "paid"and "non paid" traffic.

make sure you have the auto tagging feature turned on so that analytics is tracking your paid traffic correctly.

Im not really fussed with my own traffic as i know where its coming from. Only reason it concerns me is im always on the lookout for established sites with good organic search engine traffic.

Otherwise i could end up buying a site thinking it had good traffic from google etc, but really it was just paid advertising?
