Hey guys whats up? I am thinking about creating a video site, that shows tv series(mostly), stream movies, etc..I have found this other site called tubeplus.me...take a look it is basically what I am going for. I want to know how does this site make money? Just from browsing it, I don't even see any adsense or anything else here. Thanks for reading and responding.
The link works and I have never had a problem with the site not working. I use the site alot to keep up the shows that I watch and movies I want to see.
I have seen alot of views, but no replies. I assume most people are not sure how they make money either?
If you really have a look at the site, there is heaps of advertising on it. Really go into some of the vids etc. You will see it on the right hand side of supernatural, plus some right in the middle of the screen. It does go away when you play the vid. Never came across the site before but WOW, gonna book mark it!!
You are right. I guess I never noticed them before for whatever reason. And I just noticed the pop ups as well and the ones in the middle of the screen. I wonder if they get paid everytime some one clicks them, or if people pay to have them on their site. Ya it is a really good site to watch shows and movies on.
I honestly don't know how they make money, i don't see any ads either. Maybe affiliate links somehwere in there....
Probably blocked on an ISP level as proxy worked, no clue. But still can't actually watch something and just get a blank pop window which I assume is spam.
You guys must be all ad blind or something. I took a peak at this site and all i am seeing is $$$$$$$$$ Just trying to play back a video I got like 3 or 4 different CPA offers popping up at me. There is banner ads in the side bars which are most likely media buys. Above the video there is a bunch of "Download" links and these all appear to be affiliate type links to these various file sharing sites...which are also probably popping up a lot of various CPA offers. And this site has a facebook page with 75,000 likes. I'm sure this site is making thousands of dollars every month.
You're right MrKeh. It's the common business model for such sites, however huge infrastruction cost here: storage, bandwidth, server, security, .... Burning money quickly at the first stage...
What a stupid Question... LOL... LOOK at all the adverts.. Come on Guys.. By the time you have typed such a dumb question, you could of submitted your own website to a few directories.. these guys make thousands per week...

Sites like this can only last for so long. Video sites seem to come out of nowhere everyday. If they are smart, they are banking some of that money now.

It's amazing what these sites can get away with still amid big torrent sites getting shutdown for illegal file sharing and copyright infringement. Looks like they are getting massive traffic, so they must be making good money with all their ads.
how old is the site? If it is a new site, then they have enough common sense not to plaster ads just yet. Most sites probably dont make money, just because the site is indexed and you found it; what makes you think they are getting heavy traffic, and making lots of money? Just because a site has ads does not mean they are in the money; If you do not have the traffic to back it up, then there is no money. I do not assume that every site that I run across makes money, I wouldnt be surprised if most do not make money or very little.
