Ive got a credit niche site. Recently I bought advertising and was receiving 10 or so clicks for day, all above $1 most of them over $2. The lowest click was for 37 cents, but everything else was above that. Now today, I get 2 clicks for 8 cents total. Wtf is up with that?
Can't determine anything definitive from 2 clicks but my opinion ( if it's just 2 clicks ) is that a lower paying ad was clicked by the visitor/s. Dean
may be ( most likely ) your credit NOT good enough to create revenue for advertisers hence eCPM goes down for valueless sites makes sense to me and protects the global market from abuse if you want high paying visitors to come, then you have to create high degree of satisfaction the more technology advances, the easier it is for G and others to get feedback from site-visitors satisfaction and act accordingly. there are many factors that can be electronically accumulated and processed into a quality factor for advertisers / eCPM
Hans - 2 clicks is not sufficient data to draw conclusions with. 2 x 0.04 cent clicks is nothing out of the ordinary. Dean
This is an old Adsense trick and has been happing to me from last 12 months or so !! I guess G shares the profit with us and give us something to be happy from time to time but keep the lion's share with him..Very clever G http://forums.digitalpoint.com/images/smilies/mad.gif
Its weird, it fluctuates, today i had one for $x.xx so ill just continue doing what im doing and not worry about it I suppose.
