So I have a plan for my online store. Step 1: Build worldwide targeting score Step 2: Build 1 or 2 clones in subdomains which are set to be localised to specific countries, the only difference will be the currency and contact us details which will be no-follow anyway. Step 3: Make the clones canonical so any marketing work I do for them will give the worldwide site a boost. My question though... Im presuming this means my worldwide site will also show up in that local area for example google.co.uk as well as .com Im also presuming it would be higher ranked than if I was to market the subdomains seperately. Then I can give the user the option to select their country once in. How does this sound?
I've also just had an idea... Ultimately i want pagerank to flow throughout the site cause im marketing like this Main topic(toughest keyword) Sub categories(medium) items(easiest) So While im building up my pagerank I might make the menu no follow apart from a couple of main items that id like to target first. Then pherhaps every 3 weeks or so remove a no follow as ive got more link juice coming in and concentrate on sections one by one. Sound good?
one last question sorry! Part of my plan is to literally market every piece of the site. The subject is Muay Thai Equipment so for example Muay Thai Equipment - Muay Thai Gloves - Twins Boxing Gloves - black Twins Muay Thai Gloves I want so if anybody searches any of those terms I come up top. Do you guys think i'm spreading the pagerank too thinly like this? Would I be better off sticking with twins boxing gloves instead of spreading it between every item in each category?
