How does the forum linking work?

    I have a couple fo questions please regarding having links in the signature.

    1-As deeper you go in the forum sections the pages lose PR, or that is what i see in my firefox extension. For example the topic that I have wrote is PR0. Will my website get any linkjuice?


    2-Does it count as new links to my website every time I write a input or topic? So for example over a year I wrote 100 topics and answers etc. Does that mean that I have 100 inbounded links to my website?

    3- Is this an effective way to get better in SERP?

    I don't give much attention on the linkjuice it will give for PR purpose, I'm more more on gaining backlinks for SERP.
