    Yes, I agree this, social bookmarking is only depends upon which site you submit and how you participate, you can get better traffic from choosing best site and more participation, submit into nofollow bookmarking site is waste of time.

    social networking site is very useful for SEO. because you can get good traffic from social networking sites. you told u have done 100 of site. so now from 100 site you choose highly PR and less alexa site and subscribe new friend. after you can get more traffic and top rank in search engine.

    it help to increase traffic towards to you website but make sure you are not submitting your link to no follow sb links..
    other wise you are wasting you time it will hardly take two three minutes....
