    Well there are many ways. The creators can use PayPerClick advertisements. Create tonnes of videos and submit them to youtube which drives them to their website. Create keyword rich articles. And a lot of SEO techniques, if you know what your doing it can be quite simple.

    I agree with the youtube technique.......

    create a video which goes famous and drive that traffic to your site...

    it works very well and I have read about this a ton of times..
