Hey guys, I'm assuming SEODigger (http://www.seodigger.com) built it's database by doing massive amounts of initial queries to Google... but how in the world could they do that without getting their IP banned? It's a very cool website and one I highly recommend... but am curious if you all have any thoughts on how they're gathering this info.
They pay! Simple as that after a certain amount they get to buy their privilege. Money makes the world go round Brad!
well, i really don't know but hope this will help: how about running a lot of client softwares on a lot of computers with different ip addresses to gather the search query information for a huge list of known keywords so no ip address will not be banned, I told you it's just an idea
I have been using this site for the last one month. All I can think of is fetching popular queries made in Google and MSN and store the first 250 websites and then match the results entered by members. They may use a program and then do a cron to update the sql database every week with fresh results
Go read this contact the guy maybe he can give some insight. Ummm..Also I dont know if you know who John Jonas is but he owns UCP. They do massive amounts of querys to Google for their members to pull up and swipe adwords campaigns and they do thousands and thousands of querys to Google....Might try to contact John Jonas at Under Cover Profits as well LAter James Dean Nash
This tool is pretty much useless. I am trying all kinds of URLs and I receive the "Your link is not found in the database!" notification. Try the digital point URL...
hehe... Nah, it's a cool service that already seems to work well. I was just curious if there was some "secret" way of gathering data like that, that I was unaware of, besides the massive scale data mining that apears to be the case. Thanks guys! Brad
That tool has never worked for me....link not found in database....so I am seriously questioning the legitimacy of the tool
Good day everyone! I see many questions here about our service Seodigger So 1. We do not use any client software (it’s the best assumption, very funny) 2. Seodigger Keyword Database about 44 billions of popular keyphrases 3. To build Seodiger Index we collect first 20 Search Results for each keyphrase (nothing like popular sites parsing) 4. If site does not present in first 20 Search Result by one of 44 billions peyphrase it can’t be found in Seodigger database. I think it’s obviously. 5. If you see difference between Search Results and Seodigger data please remember about: - Google updates - Google Data Centers - Google regional Search results 99% the reason is here
I'm kicking the tires of SeoDigger, and seem to be stubbing my toe. Can somebody help me understand? I registered at SeoDigger, and put in one of my domains. I get results. What do they mean? Some of these are obviously keywords related to my site. But the first term listed (Google rank 1) is a finance term, and my site is far from finance. According to one of the SeoDigger pages: "It allows user to analyse which keywords can be used to find given domain in Google search engine." But when I go to Google and enter ("Finance Term" AND mysite.com) using various syntax, no results returned. Same with the other unexpected terms I have taken from SeoDigger and used on Google. If I wanted to know what words are being used in Google to find my domain, wouldn't my log file be a better place? The log stats program makes it very easy to see that just under 20% of my SE traffic comes from two related terms that point to a page that Google really likes. It makes it easy to see which long-tail terms are actually being used to teleport into my site. The SeoDigger list does not match what I see in Google, or what I see about my own traffic stats! How is it useful?
Can you give me example please? Without your domain and this finance related keyword it’s difficult to discuss problem. I marked few words in your message. I hope now it’s clear what Seodigger made for. If you would like to see competitors Search Traffic nobody will give you log file with statistic. For example try to find out by what keyphrases digitalpoint.com appears in Google. With Seodigger service webmasters do it with one mouse click.
Check this one http://seodigger.com/request.php?q=http://digitalpoint.com&mode=reqtld&base=google&step=250 And press “Full search for domain name†(if you are registered) It’s more interesting
