How does "Prices" websites work ?

    I want start "Compare Prices" local website. I want list goods and their prices. I am interested in building content, adding goods and prices.

    Please can you tell , how does it work ? How do they collect prices from shops , sellers ?

    Must there be login and password for sellers to add , edit their goods ?

    Any advice welcome .

    No, I dont mean internet shops. I mean local offline shops. I want to collect goods and prices from them. Those shops doesnt have website .

    What to do in this case ?

    hmmm you have to find out about good shop's address and collect..it is easy...find out in yallow pages...
