How does PR influence the site ranking

To summarize:

- PR does not influence the SERPs that much
- NoFollow links don`t transfer PR but they might be taken into consideration for SERPs
- A lower PR can get higher in searches than a higher PR if the content is well written and the website has good on-page SEO

 

Basically and technically speaking PR is the rating of a site determined by Google based on the number of links and content present on the site. These are also the factors that the Search Engine determines while ranking a site in the SERPs so higher PR will mean a higher SERP ranking. But that is not always the case but most of the time it is.

Page rank is definitely influenced by site or page age. When google decides on a page

rank for your site, it looks at many things such as the number of inbound links to the

page, site content, the amount of bad links, how big the website is and the age of

the page as older pages rank better. Ideally, domains that have been around for five

years and more are considered to have more authority. The older the domain, the more

trust it has, the better the page rank.

 

PR is the page rank via which google determine the quality of the page. So if you will put links on the higher pr websites definitely you will worth fully..

 

From my understanding, they're thinking about completely removing pr because of manipulation of page ranking. It's definitely not as important as it was.
