How does PayPal give rating to a PayPal account - such as : (x) where X is the rating I have been trying to find an answer for this, PayPal's Explanation is not enough!
That is not called a rating.... It is represent the seller reputation which had sold their products to a number of verified paypal buyers and it will automatically displayed a number of rep next to the email address on full 30 days for each successful exchanges. Regards, Kenny Tan
The Rating is the Reputation Rating Number The Reputation Rating Number is given based on the following rules :- 1) Only Premier/Business accounts would have reputation ratings. 2) Only Verified Customers would add one reputation rating to your total reputation. So if you sold something to unverified customers, you will not get any reputation rating. 3) Reputation Ratings are based per customers and not per transaction. So if you sold only to 1 verified paypal account holder ten times, you will only have 1 reputation points. 4) Reputation Rating are only given after 30 days after payment has been made. 5) For a sale to be considered for reputation rating, the dollar amount has to be over US$5 6) These would also apply to the buyer.
Personal Accounts too have reputation. Just click send money and enter the email address there, you'll see the reputation of that account
