How does PageRank work?

Pr is good to some extent, but it does not mean you will out rank some site because you have a higher number. There are just too many factors involved.

 

I read that a lot of you guys say forget PR its just a number, that may apply to your own website but when it comes to the PR of the websites your gaining links from, it becomes extremely important.

But if you have a high PR you can sell links for a high price
PR used to be an even more important factor to determine your position. But google doesn't want people to only focus on their PR so that's why it is less important now.

 

True bro, the only time I ever look at PR is when im submitting a link to a website, nice to see how high that website's PR is.

Working Of Page Ranking:-

1. The page ranking is a ranking from digit o to 10. It is a numerical ranking.

2. This is a numeric value that used to denote the use of a page is on the web. This is very important .The Google states that when there is one page links to next page; it is usually vote for the other page.

3. Page Rank is the way of Google that is used to decide importance of pages. This is the major issue, because it is one of the feature that decides ranking of pages in the search results.

 

I think it doesn't really matter much as long as you have good inbound linking and quality article. Something i would want to concentrate on is the exposure of my content to the readers.

 

But if you have a higher PR, people want to trade more links with you because of your PR, because of that you get more links, and because of that you can get higher in google
And you can sell links of course But if you have a PR1 or PR2 website, I wouldn't reccomend starting to sell links. I think that the most money can be made after you have reached a PR of 3

 

PR depends by number of links and their power. If you want high PR get links from pages with high PR.
