    Hi,

I have a number of domains I'd like to get rid of and I've seen auctions where they say "Free Push" or transfer, registered at...

How do I transfer a domain name from my account to someone else's account?

    TIA.

Transfering to another account is called a "push" and keeps the domain at the registrar, but changes account. A transfer goes to a whole other registrar. Its different for each company... where are the domains registered at?

    I have used Enom: www.enomcentral.com

If you create an account, Enom has a tool that will initiate the "push" for you under the "Domains" navigation link called "transfer a domain name".

Since you are the registered user at GoDaddy, you'll receive the transfer request at the email you have on file with GoDaddy. (NOTE: read the transfer request email carefully as they try to trick you. They put links in the email and confuse the sentence so that if you click you deny the initiated push, so just read carefully.)

Conclusion: GoDaddy is very tricky! http://forums.digitalpoint.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

    Thanks for the heads up.

So, if I'm reading this correctly, the buyer initiates the transfer or push, and the seller of the domain just has it unlocked, and then confirms when the email comes in?

    Hi
I've been reading a lot of the "How to transfer domain" posts but can anyone tell me exactly where I get this EPP code from that keeps being mentioned?

I have a domain/site that I'm about to sell and if I've got it right I'm the one who has to have or get this code but I can't find out where from within my Domain Manager.

Many thanks in advance for any help.
