I just recently wrote an ebook called Stop Sweating Now: A Simple Cure for Hyperhidrosis. Ive never written an ebook before and am new to the whole process. What would be the best and most profitable way for me to start selling it?
You can join clickbank, that is where the majority of ebook users gain affiliates and gain sales. Promote the book via Affiliates, forums, adwords, SEO, articles, blogs, etc. Good luck!
... or alternatively (or as an extra) post in the Partnership section of DP and find yourself a partner who has a list/site that suits your product. Another good alternative is to join some CPA networks as an advertiser - this, however, usually costs some money in terms of the joining fee and a guarantee payment unless you're already known to the network.
The best approach is through an affiliate program and doing JV's with other webmasters. As advised by other posters, you can get started with Clickbank, pay the $50 fee to become a Merchant and get your product listed in their Marketplace where it is seen by thousands of Clickbank affiliates. Then approach by email other webmasters who own websites which cover the same topic as your ebook (do a Google search) and offer them a free review of your ebook and ask if they'd like to promote it as your affiliate for a generous commission.
It has many advantages and many disadvantages compared with (for example) Clickbank. One huge difference is that at Clicktosell potential affiliates who are looking for products to promote can actually see your product's sales page's conversion-rate displayed. If it converts well, you can get affiliates there easily. But if it converts badly, unlike the position at Clickbank, you can't conceal the fact or hope to dress it up with "gravity"!
