Rules How does one become DP forum moderator?

I just wanted to know if the moderators working here are premium members? I mean can anyone who understands the rules and guidelines and wants to keep the forum clean be the moderator? Is it required that he/she must be a premium member first?

You need to have been bad in a past life.

 

Moderators are not made, they are chosen. lol

 

You need to actively participate, report spam posts, help resolve user's queries in DP forums. The admin (Shawn) picks up moderators.

 

And What is the criteria of His 'Choose'?

Post Count, Age in Forum, Reputation Or anything else? That is what The OP wants to know! Me too

No. Absolutely not. Premium membership is not a requirement to be a mod. Indeed, most, if not all mods, have been in the position longer than premium membership has existed on DP.
