How does it sound Talibans with nukes? In Pakistan the Islamic Fanatics with Taliban ideology have quite a bit of influence.

They tried a few times already to kill Musharaf and are trying now to impose taleban style rule on all of Pakistan. 20 people were killed and more than 200 injured in the most recent push from the Islamists from the red mosque.
Islamists with nukes very dangerous mixture. And I don't see democracy in Pakistan for a very long time. If there is such a thing as democracy, Musharaf may very well be gone in the next elections and his position taken from an islamist.

Musharraf handled the situation very well.
    The terrorists were completely exposed.
There are hardly AK-47's with them. Getting nukes ain't that easy bro!

The people of the mosque had a good purpose but their way of presenting and trying to enforce it was criticized and condemned all over the world including the respected Imam of Kaabah. Typical extremism.

New clashes at Pakistan mosque despite surrender call
ISLAMABAD (AFP) - Fresh clashes erupted at Pakistan's besieged Red Mosque......Firebrand cleric Abdul Aziz, who was seized on Wednesday trying to flee the complex in a burqa, ............His brother, deputy mosque leader Abdul Rashid Ghazi remained holed up in the mosque. He refused to leave, adding: "We are not terrorists, so why should we lay down our arms?"............http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20070705/wl_sthasia_afp/pakistanreligionunrestmosque

They don't even consider themselves as terrorists. They don't even realize they are doing something really bad. They believe they are dying for Allah's cause.

Problem is a bunch of "sick" leaders can give a bad name to a religion or a country. A "sick" leader of a country is easier to fix though. May be changes in constitutions will help against "sick" leaders of having opportunities to make armed troubles to others.
One example is Bush. Who has less than 30% approval rating and is still the CEO of US. Americans should be able to legally remove through elections any president who has approval rating of less than 45% or even less than 50%.
