How does google+ work

Hello! Every one, I'm new guy here. Could any one tell me what google+ used for and how does it work. Also, will it help increase the rank of our Websites?

Its a social network like Facebook, so a lot of the same principles apply. The +1's are equivalent to a "like" in FB. In the search engines, I have to imagine that the +1's will be incorporated into Google's ranking algorithms.

 

Google+ is a social network site that competes directly with Facebook, personally I prefer the Google+ interface, it's much more simpler and clean than the actual Facebook interface.

 

Interesting. I have not really taking the time to look into Google+ that much, besides the fact that I know it helps Google determine a visitor's attitude towards your site. If they respond favorably by logging in and voting for your site, that's an indication to Google your site might be worth showing to the search engine user, especially if the user arrived at your site by doing a Google search.

 

Google Plus is Google's way of Facebook Likes. Because Google and Facebook don't agree each other on different levels, FB won't give Google the Likes data, so Google created one on its own.

More Google plus on your site = Better ranks. But that means, plus votes from Organic search not bought google plus votes. You can see more insights in webmasters > Social Tools about how your site is performing on SERPS with Google plus data.

The Google+ you see on most sites right now is basically the same as Facebook Like buttons. There is no proven SEO effect yet although many expect them to give value or if not, give value soon.

 

Have a question about the google profile button(not +1 button) with auth tag.

Can we just have the badge or text link on the homepage or do we need to place on all article pages?

Google + is like facebook but in it some different, google + give friend circle.

 

Google+ is alternative to Facebook. Just like Facebook, you can interact with people and can share pictures, maps, favorite posts links and videos and also can do video chat with circle friends.

 

Works just like any other social media site. But better !!
