Hunting for backlinks I have found a number of people offering good edu backlink packages. But im curious how 350+ edu links will look to google when my site has 250 current backlinks
In the past I've had sites sandboxed for such actions. Don't know if Mr G still does this though. Would be better if they could offer the service where you would get the links over a period of time, would also look more natural to Mr G
My advice would be to not ping the sites. Then Google will find them slowly in a more organic fashion. Hope that helps MB
See if they can spread the edu links over time; like 10 or 15 per day. If they can, then you should be OK; if not, ask why.
to google, edu backlinks are just as same as other links. there was time when edu backlinks used to be considered as authority backlinks but that time is long gone. now anyone can build edu backlinks from edu forum profiles or spamming on edu blogs and google knows about it too. so don't worry too much about having 350 new edu backlinks cause even if you are paying for 350 edu backlinks, you will probably get only a handful of them indexed by google. another thing you need to consider is that if you have 250 current backlinks, you cannot just buy 350 additional links and stop there. you will need to continue your link building or your link building campaign will not look natural to google. a sudden boost in backlinks might send your site to google sandbox so it is always a good idea to build backlinks at a pace that you can maintain for a while
