Google.com and google regionalised seem to have different results shown, despite that they are both searching Google the WEB and not the individual country? Do google have Different data centres? Do these update every day, whilst some do not? Thanxs
Even in the US people get different results. Generally I will pull the list of data center placement before I get to happy about my results. Google "google data centers" there are a few sites where you can enter a search term and see the results from the different data centers.
Google shows different results because of different datacentres........and also search results updates very frequently but in case of PR and backlink updation takes too long around 3-4 months.
http://www.mcdar.net/dance/index.php enter a search term and see the top listings. If you look around there are some out there with a better layout. If you look at the results you will see that the data centers show different placements.
google data centers doesn't update all at the same time, it actually takes time till they all performs an update...
In addition to other factors, all of the major search engines give a great deal of weight to geo-location in the rankings, even when the user does not request a country-specific search. This is the primary reason why the results vary among the various country-specific versions of Google, Yahoo!, and MSN. And, of course, more recently, Google has added 'personalized' search, which can effect the results when you are logged into your Google account.
Google is displaying different results depending on your keywords inputted.... Especially the word separators, special characters, misspelled words...etc..
