There are hundreds of criteria that go into the google algorithm. However, you'll find that just a handful of things carry the most weight. Your page titles, page descriptions, h1 tags, for on page SEO. Then the anchor text of links coming back to your pages for off page SEO. The sites that rank high have good on page SEO then have quality related links back to their site with their keywords in the anchor text.
well, your question is very important but difficult to say how google decides ranking. basically we works for ranking on optimization, link building, and other seo activities, but still i have no idea how google decide ranking, difficult to understand gogole ranking algorithm.

hi good question but i thing google give us page rank related to traffic and also back link that u have of other page that give a back link to your page also.
