How does Google PR work?

I here a lot about Google Page Ranks but I have no idea how it works. What is the importance of Page Rank and how do you get it?

 

the higher PR you have, your site will be appear first on the result list of google search..
to get higher PR, you need as much backlink as you can..

 

Backlinks are the key then?

 

Back link plays an important role in getting high page rank. In order to do that, engaging on the techniques like blog commenting, forum posting, classified ads, press release, online groups, link exchange and article submission helps. Get back links on relevant and DoFollow sites because Google gives more value on them.

 

You get high PR with high PR quality do-fllow backlinks. Thats it about the story

I think even Google are not sure how their PR works. Never given an explanation about it's algo.

 

-Number of backlinks
-Theme related links
-Number of outbound links from those backlinks
-Your backlinks hosted on which IP
-Unique content and Optimized content. (why because it ranks well and the links will point to that content automatically)
-static pages. I mean fixed content (This is my personal view. If the home page content changes regularly then google takes time to decide PR for your home page..It the page is static then there may be chances of getting quick PR)

PR is a ranking system, named after one of the co-creators of Google, established through a complex algorithm by Google..basically.

 

A good combination of both will do.

 

Back links ,back links, backs link and i agree with chancey both can help you

 

that is very wrong.PR is just one of 100 factors for search results rankings

 

Do yourself a favor and just forget about PR now before it's too late. If not, you'll waste a lot of time worrying about it. Just get links to your site and never stop doing that.

Try to get links from sites and pages that are related to your sites topic and have Pr or page rank of thier own. Use a couple of different terms for links so one is not only one that gets rank for your site.
