How does Google interpret backlinks from same domain?

    We're all trying to build backlinks so we get a better rank on Google search page. Most webmasters here put links to their website in their signature, which might end up creating 1000 backlinks but from the same domain...How does Google see these backlinks? is it considered as 1 or 1000?

    It is called internal linking. It helps search engine crawl your site. However it is not a backlink.
