Nothing like good ol' reverse racism. People like jesse jackson come to mind, those who profit from racism and need to keep it alive.

I read from many news sources, each with the knowledge that it could be biased. I find that if you read a fox article and another like msnbc you can get both sides, since I believe most news sources are extremely liberal and can be seen when they jumped up and down like a bunch of cheer leaders when bill Clinton won. That was during his first election while I was first voting on a president. I will never forget thinking about how obviously biased the news channels were.

I don't see actually attacking issues as racism. What other option is there? Hiding under a rock, not admitting anything? To admit things and stats is not racism IMHO.

I find most are biased the other way around, especially Fox. I used to watch fox religiously, I would not watch anyone else. Until I found so many untruthful statements made by Fox I finally have more or less boycotted them. I will read articles to try to get a few sides from them once in awhile, but overall I find them to be totally biased to the right.

I do agree though getting news from more than one source is always a good idea.

BTW those profitting from 'racism' actually is many who are bashing RP now. They find racism when the minorities themselves do not ;) Why is that do you wonder? Old white men find it racist, yet minorities do not? To me that's like saying the old white men must somehow think the minorities are not smart enough to see what's racist and they will decide for them.

Got it. Stereotyping is a very human thing to do. And I should know better.

You did, and thanks. To make my position clear, I am strictly against ideologies, specifically communism and extreme socialism. I like stuff like peace, love and understanding. I believe that most people are inherently good, whether they are a skinhead, an extremist or from another race. At the end of the day, we all want one basic form of respect. To be left alone and not harassed, persecuted or ruled.

The neo-nazi stuff gets blown way out of proportion with regards to RP. If you read some of the links from stormfront, you'll find nazis arguing about Paul because he isn't a white-supremacist, or that beyond his civil liberty stance, he won't do enough for their agendas.

It's like the new smear about neo-confederates. Anyone who is for states rights (which is a constitutional idea) is a neo-confederate. Anyone who researches Abe Lincoln and says that the Civil War was not fought to end slavery, but for economic and political reasons, is then anti-slavery. But that's not true, because a lot of people in the South believe that they got the short end, not only on their right to secede, but also in the history books. I mean, how do you think the neo-nazis feel about a candidate who speaks highly of Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks, is endorsed by Walter Williams, and says that we could have ended slavery peacefully, like the British, French, Dutch etc did, instead of losing 600,000 American lives?

That is precisely why Ron Paul kept Don Black's donation of $500. If Don Black wants to contribute to the liberty candidate who fights for individual freedom, then Ron ain't gunna give it back so he can plug it into stormfront.

I'm not sure if you misunderstood me about reverse racism - but my comment had to do with this part exclusively
Not sure who you are talking about as far as bashing RP and profitting from racism.

    Off to bed....

Some good points in what You say here. I don't know about RP speaking highly of those listed, but maybe you can point me there.

I understand that was your point, which is exactly why I responded as I did. Talking about hitting issues head on, I don't see it as being racist so in my view it definitely would not be 'reverse racisim'

Not you, anyone however who wants their candidate in office ;) It might not be money profit, it however is political profit.
