How does family members react to your adsense earnings?

Most of the people I told don't understand. My husband does, but only because I explained it to him about 25 times. Most people don't use the internet much, and don't have any interest in learning more. I don't make a lot, but I've got several more ideas that will pay off, once I get around to working on them.

 

me : i am doing internet marketing means e commerce
they : ohh MLM
me : no its related to online trading and selling
they : i know share market , its down now man

finally i said , actually i don't have work

but they understand when i bought my new home ( $60k )

 

They said:

Don´t trust it.

And, I agree.

I like a bit of everything, plus premium content sales.. it's all in my blog..

 

Good earning from own website and from home.

 

That is what I want to know. right now I'm still far from earning $100.

 

Tonight I was telling my 13 year old son that I put ads on one of my established sites on Thursday for the first time and on Friday, I earned $11.50. I started to explain that I only put ads on half the pages and you had to multiply it by 365 days to get a real idea of what the potential was. I said "$11 isn't much but its a start" and his answer was "$11 is a LOT to me!" So at least my 13 year old is impressed.

 

Still waiting to earn $100, looks like it might take a long time with these low payouts...

 

No one believed me at first but when my check arrived then everyone was like WTH.......so impressed.

 

I can't wait to receive my first check and I'll be like: "told you. "

Oh preventing of invalid clicks is when you do not mention your URLs to friends and everyone. That is the best way.

 

My familly is in stone age and they dont udnerstand anything, same as 99% of people in my town, they all work on field and grow plants, after that they go to bar and get drunk.
Sometimes i try to explain but they dont understand anything.

My latest funny story is when i sold domain amen at sedo and money have come to my bank and my bank calls me at home to go immediately to bank and open new account.
bank operator ask me whats this money for?
I answer i sold domain.
She ask me, what did you sell?
I say, hmmm domain name, its all written on paper of sedo.
She say, yea i udnerstand that its writen but whats domain.
then i say just give me money.(after writing a statement that i sold domain,lol)
Story dont end here, after couple of calls from bank now i need to go open another type of account...

So how can i explain to people in my village who dig holes on field, if i cant explain to bank operator...

 

Adsense is good.
But instead, i said i received my cheque 'cos i gooGle Inc liked my articles and paid me..
It tookmore than a year for me to reach my first cheque of $117

 

Same with me.

 

They are shocked. how the hell i make so much at the Internet.

 

I started adsense some months ago and I have not discuss it with any member of my family.

 

actully my parents are happy but i wish to earn more.

 

parents are happy, close friends are jealous so i decided not to talk about it with my friends
