How Does Facebook Adverts Compare To Google Adwords?

    I've noticed facebook advertising seems to be growing in popularity. Does it compare with Google in anyway? Do you know if they are similar in regards to PPC? Any information on this comparison would help out a lot, thanks.:confused:

    I would think that Adwords still has the upper hand since it gets more traffic than Facebook. I do have an Advert account and to be honest, I rarely pay attention to those banners they have. Facebook to me is strictly social. Just my 2 cents.

    Thanks, that helps a lot. I typically use FB for social anyway, I was just curious because I have heard good results.

    Adsense is by far the better of the two, from what i have read around the internet facebook ads have a poor CTR

    Facebook is generally easier to get started than Adwords
    It's hard to say how they compare, They are 2 different beasts!

    I would say that if you were to target teenagers and young adults, facebook would be good to start. Other then that, use google.

    of course facebook is more cheaper than google adwords and so you can get good results from it depending on what u advertise
