It's a scam mosly, this guys use a software to do the job that you can do it yourself for the same amount of effort but with a better results.

This seem to be a few post relating to this lately, one is this http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1639072

There is a lot of different software, but I think that is better to submit site manuely to directories.

Regardless of the price pakage they offer it would be better to take care of the following things

    - PR of the directory submitted
    - Confirmation to the email sent by the directories
    - not a fast submission directory

:) you guys can add to this.

Good notice. - A lot of the manual submission services are from India.
In the USA and Europe, manual submission will be cost in several times more expensive, so we don't have benefits to do so.
But software submission services - is a good decision by price/quality. Manual submission will cost you much more with a similar result.
Again, much depends not only on the mode of representation but also on the used list of web directories.
