I looked over their site for things like advertising, money, biz op. man, what a load of sh*t. Does anyone actually make money selling:

"MAKE MONEY IN 30 SECONDS GUARANTEED WITHOUT WORKING, THINKING, BREATHING ....I AM NOT PULLING YOUR LEG ...YOU WILL MAKE A MASSIVE AMOUNT OF MONEY....THIS MONEY MAKING PLAN HAS WORLED FOR THE BIGGEST AND THE BEST!!!!!"

(this was a joke unless you didn't get it)

Yes some people do :) It all depends on how you sell and who your audience is. Yes I know some products are seriously stupid but after searching, you can find some products that even you might want to buy :p

sorry i was just naming a few.... i dont have the time to list all of the quality products CB has to offer, even though it would take longer to list the crappy products.

I suggest you head over to ewealth (link in sig) and ask more questions about CB and affiliate programs bc the majority of the posters there make lots of money promoting CB and many have their own cb sites as well.

    over there you'll find the owner of websherlock.com, reverserecords.org, chocofactory.com, beats365.com, digitalportrait.net, cbstatz.com, and many others.

They are in business because many new people don't know how affiliate works, and some use very deciptive methods to sell the products.

clickbank isn't perfect, but if they are moving 20,000 units per day (according to their site) they are doing something right, and they aren't likely to go out of business any time soon. i do agree though, that some of the merchant sales copy is completely over the top.

I thought You're talking about their crappy stats system when reading the headline...

But seriously, how come they're so lousy?

    No impressions
    No product sales
No clear history - You have to keep going back through history to find one or another sale

    It's just awful...

Nevermind, just badly wanted to express my opinion :)

Obviously they stay in business because of the commissions they make -- selling 20,000 things a day I am sure they only have to refund about 5000 of those, lol.

I do understand how ClickBank makes money, I just don't get how its affiliates do. In my case, conversion rates are extremely low. I have heard the same complaint from many others. Perhaps it's ClickBank and its merchants who make the money. Perhaps most affiliates just bring loads of free traffic to ClickBank and its merchants.

I had considered signing up with ClickBank after I heard some of the success stories from people who use it, but once I looked over their product catalogue I decided against it. If I make less money because I don't convince my visitors to buy crap, I can live with it.
